German artist Jutta Schnauer was born in Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in 1937. She studied theology during the period 1956 – 1961 and served as a pastor in the State Church of Mecklenburg until 2002. From 2003 she trained as an artist in various disciplines and has since then worked mainly in abstract form.
