Peter Bailey was born in India in 1946. He has worked as a book illustrator for more than fifty years, mostly in the field of children’s books. He has worked with many well-known authors and for most major British publishers. He is possibly best known for illustrating books by the author Philip Pullman, including The Folio Society three-volume trilogy of ‘His Dark Materials’.
